Miners End Ojacarcu Streak Sunday, April 14th , 2024 Andrew Ojacarcu's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 22 games, as the Newark Flyers dropped their contest with the Glace Bay Miners, 6-0, at Newark Fields. Ojacarcu failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-3. After the game Ojacarcu spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. Ojacarcu is batting at a .450 pace this season, picking up 18 hits in 40 at-bats with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 13 runs scored. |
