Kerrigan and Lopez Suspended, Out 4 Games Tuesday, May 5th , 2026 Tempers were flaring yesterday at Ballpark of Bangor. Both the Storm and Lumberjacks were defending their turf. A few punches were thrown, but fortunately very few landed -- there was more wrestling than fighting. When the umpires sorted everything out, Lake Elsinore's Philip Kerrigan and Bangor's Mike Lopez were ejected from the game. Today the league office suspended Kerrigan and Lopez for 4 games each. So far this season, Kerrigan is hitting .311 with 4 home runs, 11 RBIs and 8 runs scored. He has 14 hits in 45 at-bats and a .396 OBP. This season, Lopez is 1-and-1 with no saves and a 4.44 ERA. He has given up 26 hits in 24.1 innings with 10 strikeouts. |
