Ojacarcu Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Wednesday, April 10th , 2024 Andrew Ojacarcu's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Newark. The 24-year-old left fielder extended it once again, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 2-for-4 performance against the Kansas City Dust Devils. The Flyers won the game, 8-6. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Andrew Ojacarcu singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Roberto Gonzalez in the 7th and walked in the 8th. To date this year, Ojacarcu is batting .464 with 2 home runs. |
