Newark Eliminated from Playoff Contention Wednesday, September 4th , 2024 There won't be a ABA Class A championship banner being raised in Newark this year. The Newark Flyers came close to qualifying for the postseason, but ultimately have failed to make it in. They were officially eliminated today. The Flyers had a streak of 8 straight playoff appearances before this year. In the 25 years they have been a ABA Class A franchise, they have made the playoffs 11 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Flyers have missed the playoffs 2 times. |
