Barrie's Omar Lorenzo Injured Tuesday, September 12th , 2023 When Omar Lorenzo was hurt against the Dollywood Partons, the Barrie Admirals were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 23-year-old reliever suffered a torn meniscus throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Lorenzo would miss 4-5 months of the season. For the season, Lorenzo has 2 saves, tossed 64.1 innings, fanned 63 batters and produced an ERA of 2.10. He has also been credited with 6 wins and 1 loss. |
