Roberson Silences Nashua, 8-0 Saturday, August 24th , 2024 Nate Roberson was in a mood to talk following the White Deer Tropics contest against the Nashua Sweepers, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Sweepers, 8-0. "There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Roberson said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again." The right-hander blanked Nashua on a 4-hitter, allowing 5 walks and racking up 5 strikeouts. Thus far this year, Roberson has picked up 1 save.
