White Deer Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Friday, August 16th , 2024 Even the most die-hard fans of the White Deer Tropics will likely now start focusing on next year. The team was today mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. "We're disappointed," said Tropics reliever Troy Zufelt. "Not just for ourselves, but also for the fans that stick with us every year." The Tropics have made the playoffs 6 times in their 25 years as a ABA Class A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2022. In the last 10 seasons, the Tropics have made the playoffs 4 times. |
