Guerrero on Fire: Burns Kalamazoo with 3 HR Wednesday, May 28th , 2025 Whatever Alex Guerrero ate for breakfast before his game against the Kalamazoo Comets, it gave him some impressive power. The White Deer third baseman smacked three balls up and out of the park at Ballpark of White Deer. His home run barrage helped the Tropics defeat the Comets, 10-7. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 4-for-5, scored 3 times, drove in 6 and put on a display that history will remember. Alex Guerrero hit a solo-shot off Mike Gunter in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Mike Gunter in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Jason Eppert in the 9th. At present, Guerrero is batting .268 with 19 hits and 5 home runs. He has knocked in 14 runs and scored 8 times. |
