Grand Rapids's Coffey Bags N-A Batting Award Thursday, June 1st , 2023 For a rookie just breaking in, Dale Coffey certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the N-A Batter of the Month award for May. The 23-year-old second baseman for the Grand Rapids Jet Hawks hit .377 with 8 home runs, 23 RBIs and 29 runs scored. Coffey is hitting .376 for the season with 12 home runs, 36 RBIs and 48 runs scored. He has 74 hits in 197 at-bats and played in 50 games. |
