Comets Halt DeVaul Hit Streak Thursday, May 25th , 2023 The Kalamazoo Comets clamped down on Paul DeVaul and put a stop to his hit streak. He went without a hit, ending the run at 23 straight games, but it didn't keep the Partons from winning. Dollywood downed the Comets, 2-1. "It was bound to happen," DeVaul said with a shrug after the game. This year, DeVaul is hitting .289 with 7 home runs and 28 RBIs in 44 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .362 with 15 walks and 30 runs scored. |
