DeVaul Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Saturday, May 20th , 2023 Paul DeVaul's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Dollywood. The 21-year-old right fielder extended it once again, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 2-for-4 performance against the Long Beach Keys. The Partons won the game, 3-0. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Paul DeVaul grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 4th and singled in the 7th. For the year, DeVaul has hit at a .291 clip with 26 RBIs, 7 home runs and 27 runs scored. |
