Great Stroke: David Gets 5 Hits Friday, May 12th , 2023 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Corey David. David went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Lake Elsinore pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Dust Devils Ballpark, he had a 5-for-5 line and a day he will long remember. And the Mexico City Aztecs had a win, 19-6, over the Storm. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Corey David singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a sac fly in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
