3 Bombs for David Moore Monday, April 21st , 2025 London Werewolves right fielder David Moore sensed he was going to have a good day at the plate, but he still might have underestimated it a little. Prior to the start of today's contest with the Barrie Admirals, Moore told teammates he was sure he would hit a home run. He did -- three times. "During batting practice I really had my swing down pat," he recalled. "I felt some thunder in the lumber." The big day from Moore pushed the Werewolves past the Admirals, 10-5. To go along with the homers, he collected 6 RBIs and scored 4 runs. "I was seeing good, feeling good and swinging good," Moore told reporters after the game. David Moore hit a solo-shot off Marty Matthews in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Marty Matthews in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Kyle Murray in the 9th. Currently Moore has 5 home runs and a .424 batting average. |
