London's Alvarado Elbows His Way to W-AA Award Saturday, October 25th , 2025 This past season was outstanding for Ricardo Alvarado. The London mound star sizzled with a 12-8 record and captured the prestigious 2025 W-AA Pitcher of the Year Award. The Tigers hurler posted a 2.84 ERA in 28 starts with 165 strikeouts and 41 walks in 180.2 innings. Alvarado limited opposing teams to a .248 batting average. He received 20 first place votes out of a possible 24. Chris Reed of the Hamilton Bulldogs finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Keith Jong of the Cincinnati Bombardiers finished third.
