Saakadze Grabs E-AA Reliever of the Year Award Wednesday, October 22nd , 2025 2025 was a year to remember for Hunter Saakadze. The Encinitas Eskimo Brothers reliever was the owner of a 0.58 ERA this season over 46.1 innings of work. He made 39 relief appearances and had 5 saves, 46 strikeouts, 15 walks and a record of 6 wins and 1 loss. He's also now got some hardware, as the 27-year-old has been named the Eastern AA Reliever of the Year Award winner. "It's something I can tell my grandchildren some day, pretty special," he said. He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Justin Gravely of the Corpus Christi Mermen finished second in voting, while Danny Wagner of the Encinitas Eskimo Brothers finished third.
