Winchester Beats London in World Series Saturday, October 11th , 2025 This is the time of the baseball season when grown men are reduced to tears. This year, the Winchester Mountaineers were shedding tears of joy and the London Tigers those of sorrow. The Mountaineers topped the Tigers today 6-4 at Mountaineers Park and locked up their 4th ABA Double A World Series championship, winning the series 4-2. "To come this far and leave empty-handed is not easy," said London manager Jose Torres.
