Dread Kings Come up Short of Playoffs Friday, August 30th , 2024 While they stayed relevant until late in the season, a playoff berth wasn't meant to be this season for the Boise Dread Kings. The club was eliminated from playoff contention today. "Even though we knew where things stood, it's a disappointment," Dread Kings manager Sean Drummond said. Before this season, the Dread Kings last missed the playoffs in 2022. In the 25 years they have been a ABA Double A franchise, they have made the playoffs 17 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Dread Kings have made the playoffs 4 times. |
