Winchester Wins Division Series Sunday, September 17th , 2023 A 6-1 triumph at Mountaineers Park has wrapped up the Division Series for the Winchester Mountaineers. "We're off to the League Championship Series," said Mountaineers left fielder Oscar de Leon, who was named series MVP after his club eliminated the Boise Dread Kings by a series score of 4-2. "You can never take a win in a series like this for granted," he said. The Winchester Mountaineers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Riverside Rotters - Encinitas Eskimo Brothers series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece.
