Matt Sandridge Sidelined for Season Saturday, August 26th , 2023 Matt Sandridge of the Firecats just might have to call it quits for the season. The 23-year-old Hialeah starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Vermont Milkmen recently at Emeralds Ballpark. Sandridge suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch. The Firecats medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 6 months. His record this year is 1-6 in 11 starts and Sandridge has a 4.69 ERA. |
