Aurora Beats Winchester as Landa Throws 9-0 Shutout Wednesday, August 21st , 2024 Ramon Landa was dynamite at Suns Field, blowing away the Winchester Mountaineers in a shutout victory. The Aurora Suns starter had everything working as he held the Mountaineers to 5 hits in the 9-0 win. "He was pure nasty out there today," said Winchester skipper Mitchell Young. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing." Landa finished the game with 10 strikeouts and no walks. To this point in the season, Landa has rung up no saves in no relief appearances. He has also crafted a 3.08 ERA, 10 wins and 5 losses and 98 strikeouts in 143.1 innings.
