This Week's Star Player is McConnell Monday, August 5th , 2024 It was an extraordinary week for Alan McConnell of the Libertyville Polecats. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .545, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Eastern AA. Last week McConnell went 12-for-22, racked up 4 home runs and 6 RBIs and scored 5 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Libertyville shortstop. McConnell currently has a .335 batting average with 64 hits, 12 homers, 31 RBIs, 36 runs scored and a .407 OBP. |
