E-AA Trophy Goes to Valkenburg of Encinitas Monday, July 8th , 2024 Encinitas sports fans can't stop singing the praises of Steve Valkenburg, who has been selected the Eastern AA Player of the Week. Valkenburg was in a comfort zone all week, finishing with a .552 average (16-for-29), 8 RBIs and 3 home runs. This year, Valkenburg is hitting .383, produced 69 RBIs and 24 home runs, scored 52 times and gotten on base at a .456 rate. |
