Vega Goes Deep 3 Times Friday, May 5th , 2023 The Sonoma Scorpions knocked off the Hamilton Bulldogs, 8-7, in spite of a fantastic performance by Bulldogs third baseman Andres Vega, who Vega drilled three home runs but couldn't bring home the victory. "It's like going to the prom with the prettiest girl in school, having a great time, but then not getting a good night kiss," Vega said later. Vega finished the day with 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 3 RBI and 3 runs scored. Andres Vega singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off David Morris in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Paul Herzog in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Jonathan Harvey in the 9th. This season, Vega has delivered 40 hits in 104 at-bats for a .385 average with 10 home runs. He is getting on base at a .462 clip and his totals also include 23 RBIs and 22 runs scored.
