E-AA Names Best Player Monday, May 1st , 2023 One of the league's most exciting young players, Mike Smith of the Alcoa Millionaires earned himself Eastern AA Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 23-year-old left fielder had a lofty .500 average (14-for-28), collecting 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 9 runs scored. This year, Smith is hitting .367 with 7 home runs and 15 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .416 clip and scored 19 runs. |
