SC Awards Outstanding Pitcher Trophy Thursday, October 23rd , 2025 Jaylin Moyer was really special this season. You could feel the electricity in the air every time he took the mound for the Joilet Jesters. Today he was honored by his selection as the 2025 Stars Conference Pitcher of the Year Award recipient. He started 26 games, logging 173 innings, 12 wins, 7 losses, 141 strikeouts and a 2.18 ERA. Moyer gave up 146 hits, while walking 43 and holding opponents to a .231 average. He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Matt Parsons of the Portland Mad Ants finished second in voting, while Lorenzo Villarreal of the El Paso Chupacabras finished third.
