Stars Conference Picks August's Best Batter Sunday, September 1st , 2024 Brian Brewer may be much younger than other hitters in the Stars Conference, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in August to win the Batter of the Month award. The 21-year-old Portland left fielder hit .303 with 8 home runs, 17 RBIs and 21 runs scored. In 61 games this season, Brewer has compiled a .312 batting average with 77 hits and 11 home runs. He has also scored 40 times and knocked in 29 runs. |
