Lubbock Stampede Clinch First in Stars Conference West Division Wednesday, September 13th , 2023 Grown men turned into little boys, some even breaking into tears, in the Lubbock Stampede clubhouse, after the team clinched the Stars Conference West Division. "We can relax a bit, for now anyway," said manager William Maysonet. "I'm proud of every guy in the room for what we've done this season." The club has a 87-54 record as they head towards the playoffs in search of their 1st World Series championship. Third Baseman Adam Peterson said the team is happy to clinch what is the club's 3rd division title, but "wouldn't be happy until we're lifting that trophy." |
