SC's Top Player, King of Chesapeake Monday, August 19th , 2024 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Chesapeake's William King put up last week were the envy of the league, as King came away with Stars Conference Player of the Week honors. He belted out 11 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs and 7 RBIs last week as he posted his .440 batting average. This season, King is batting .250 with 110 hits, 9 home runs, 44 RBIs, 47 walks, .321 OBP and has scored 63 runs. He has played in 114 games. |
