Canadiens Mathematically Out of Playoffs Friday, August 16th , 2024 Fans of the Montreal Canadiens have long since given up hope of the club making a serious playoff push this season. But now those hopes are officially gone, as the club was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Montreal last appeared in the postseason in 2010. This is their 14th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 21 times in their 25-year history. Montreal last won the World Series in 2003. |
