Herrera Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Saturday, May 31st , 2025 Julio Herrera told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard." Well, that's just what Herrera of the Quebec Fighting Quakers did against the Dillonvale Indians. He went to the plate 8 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, but his club still suffered a defeat, 5-4. "Not much I can say," offered Herrera in the postgame press conference. "I got a bunch of hits, but it would have been much better to get a win. Can I trade 5 hits for the win?" Julio Herrera grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, doubled in the 8th, flied out in the 10th, grounded out in the 12th, singled in the 14th and hit an RBI single in the 16th.
