Dietel Suspended, Out 3 Games Tuesday, May 27th , 2025 As a result of his tirade and temper tantrum during yesterday's Marshalls-Matadors game at Hedgehogs Park, Fremont first baseman Chris Dietel will get some time off. He was issued a 3-game suspension by the league commissioner. Dietel was suspended for verbally abusing and physically bumping the home plate umpire after being ejected for arguing over a third strike. At the moment, Dietel is batting .274 with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs. He has played in 40 games and scored 12 times. |
