Thanks in large part to shortstop Eric Milbrandt, the Tucson Raccoons beat the Ann Arbor Z's, 4-1. Milbrandt was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk. Kyle Thompson got the save, his 38th in 39 chances. With the win, Tucson pushed its record to 72-67.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Milbrandt hit a solo home run off Pedro Benitez. It propelled the Raccoons into the lead, 2-1.

"What we get, we earn," Milbrandt told the Tucson Observer.
