Quebec Claims 4-2 Victory
|
Quebec Fighting Quakers starter Dan Fischer hurled his team past the Walnut Park Bobcats, 4-2. Josh Harkey earned the save for Quebec, his 37th of the year. The win elevated the Fighting Quakers to 84-51.
Quebec needed the clutch hitting of Sean Custis to seal the deal. The second baseman swatted a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Fighting Quakers on top, 4-1. For the game, Custis had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
Fischer called the win "a collective effort."
