Arnerich Now 6-9 After Beating Purple Wave

Conditions were not ideal but Fremont and New Rochelle were able to put their game in the books.
Mike Arnerich, who is tied for 10th in the StC in quality starts with 13, imposed his will on the Purple Wave from the get-go. Relying mainly on his cutter, the right-hander spearheaded the 3-1 Fremont triumph. The win elevated the Marshalls to 68-57.
Arnerich yielded no runs on 3 hits over 7 innings for the Marshalls. For the season, Arnerich has a record of 6-9 with 100 strikeouts.
"It's so much easier when you throw good pitches," said Arnerich.
