Mack Impresses as Selects Knock Off Bruins, 3-1
The Spokane Selects received a sterling performance from starting pitcher Rich Mack, allowing them to shoot down the Westwood Bruins, 3-1. Mike Watts earned the save for Spokane, his 4th of the year. Spokane, at 67-55, occupies third place in the Stripes Conference West Division.

Mack scattered 4 hits over 8.2 innings for the Selects. With the win, Mack moves to 7-4 on the year with 103 strikeouts.

"When you have a good rhythm and good flow, it's nice to just go out there and pound the strike zone with confidence," said Mack.
