The home crowd had a good time watching the Tucson Raccoons and Walnut Park Bobcats get after it.

Walnut Park pitcher Brad Porretta did his part in helping his team defeat the Tucson Raccoons, 5-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. The winning pitcher was Porretta, now 2-0. He tossed 7.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 6.

Cameron Witt helped out the Walnut Park cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the catcher drew 1 walk in 4 trips to the plate.

"Brad is tough to beat when he's hitting his spots," said Walnut Park manager Hua Pian.

The last-place Raccoons have dropped 4 straight games.
