A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Vermont Milkmen and Augusta Capitols.

Craig Kelley was instrumental in his team's 5-3 triumph over the Augusta Capitols. The first baseman went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Vermont Milkmen. Vermont has a record of 66-72, placing them 4th in the Western AA Coastal Division.

Vermont took the lead in the bottom of the fifth when Kelley hit a 2-run home run. His 25th home run of the season made the score 5-3, Vermont.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Kelley.
