Coon Excels, But Bulldogs Win
Sonoma designated hitter Tom Coon had a good game, even if his team did not. The Scorpions dropped a 5-4 decision to Hamilton at Ballpark of North Richland Hills. Coon went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The Bulldogs now have a record of 75-61.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Andy Brewer? The Hamilton left fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Bulldogs on top, 2-0. For the game, Brewer had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
