Hamilton and London took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

Jay Robinson helped his team muscle past the London Tigers, 5-3. In the game, the Hamilton designated hitter was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Hamilton, now 68-55, has won 10 straight games.

The Tigers had been locked in a 3-3 tie with the Bulldogs going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 22-year old right fielder Todd Stevens came to the plate. Stevens hit a run-scoring double on a 0-1 fastball from London hurler Ken Bixby. It was Stevens's 24th double of the year.

"The guys are feeling pretty good about where they're at right now," said Bulldogs manager Emmanuel Montano. "We have a lot of guys playing with confidence."
