Bombardiers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Tigers
The Cincinnati Bombardiers racked up a win at Ballpark of Oklahoma City, bumping off the London Tigers, 5-4, in 12 innings. Alex Martinez, who started for Cincinnati, pitched effectively for his team. The Bombardiers now have a record of 58-63 with the win over London.

The most important at-bat for Cincinnati came in the top of the 12th inning, when catcher Ivan Valenzuela stroked a full count fastball to left for a run-scoring single, putting Cincinnati up, 5-4.

"Alex did a good job of managing their lineup," said Cincinnati manager Carlos Almendarez.
