Firecats Win 7-6 Nail-Biter Versus Tigers
The Hialeah Firecats snuck past the London Tigers, 7-6, in 12 innings. Hialeah left fielder Jeremy Callis, in particular, had a standout performance. With this game in the books, Hialeah is 37-82, London 64-55.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the 12th. With Hialeah trailing 6-5, Callis jumped on a fastball from 21-year old left-handed pitcher Jon Agans and hit a 2-run home run to left-center. With one swing, the Firecats had a walk-off win.

"Baseball is such a beautiful game," said Callis. "Anything can happen on any night, and that's why you don't dwell on what happened yesterday. Just look forward and trust you're going to have positive results."
