Led by Bill Demers, the London Tigers downed the Hialeah Firecats, 6-3. Demers went 2 for 5 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Tigers. London is now 64-54, Hialeah 36-82.

The Tigers got an important contribution from catcher Justin Wardlaw, who in the top of the fourth punched a first pitch knuckle curve to left-center for a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Tigers ahead, 4-1.
