Boll Weevils Lose as Royals Stage Late Rally
The game between Cornwall and Miami is in the books, despite a little rain.

Starting pitcher Rob Stech had a solid game. He was a big reason the Cornwall Royals throttled the Miami Boll Weevils, 5-1. The third-place Royals now have a win-loss record of 63-55.

Cornwall used the clutch hitting of Jason Harrington to snag the win. The first baseman drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Royals ahead, 5-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Stech.
