Garcia Leads Bowsers to 10-6 Win Over Tropics
Led by 21-year-old Albert Garcia, the Columbus Bowsers knocked off the White Deer Tropics, 10-6. Garcia hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Bowsers. The setback makes White Deer 60-77.

Brian Cash had a big 3-run home run for the Bowsers in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Columbus trailing 5-4 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he sized up a fastball from Steve Greene, who is tied for 2nd in the S-A with a 9.4 K/9 rate, and punished it. The result was his 6th home run of the season, which put the Bowsers on top, 7-5.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Garcia told the Columbus Today.
