Mexico City Tacks 5-3 Loss on Atlanta
|
Dustin Engstrom, who is tied for 3rd in the S-A in complete games with 1, was locked in. The left-hander led the Mexico City Aztecs to a 5-3 win against the Atlanta Aggies at Aggies Ballpark. Ken Griffey earned the save for Mexico City, his 31st of the year. Mexico City has now won 11 straight.
With one out in the top of the first, Brent Mallinson put Mexico City in front, 1-0, with a run-scoring single. The Aztecs went on to win the ballgame.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Engstrom.
