Spirited fans greeted the Kalamazoo Comets for their clash with the Dollywood Partons.

The Dollywood Partons topped the Kalamazoo Comets, 5-2, in Southern A action at Wizards Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Dollywood pitcher Sean Hill. John Wicken was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 15 of 16 save opportunities.

Hill, the Dollywood right-hander, went 8 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits. He collected 9 strikeouts.

"I thought we played a nice game," Hill told the Dollywood Daily. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."

The win puts the Partons at 103-34, while the Comets drop to 37-100.
