White Deer third baseman Ben Riffe had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Riffe went 4-4 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles, even as Dollywood beat the Tropics, 6-2. Miguel Flores snagged the win in relief. He goes to 7-1 on the season. Tyler Layne suffered the loss. This win makes it 6 in a row for Dollywood.

Dollywood used a well-timed hit by Oscar de Leon to capture the win. The first baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the third inning to put the Partons ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"I like how we're playing right now," said de Leon.
