Riding the 2-hit performance of the 23-year old left fielder Armando Gomez, the Mexico City Aztecs defeated the London Werewolves, 12-0. The Aztecs improved to a lofty 92-36.

Gomez made an early impact for Mexico City when he stroked his 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came in the bottom of the first, put the Aztecs on top, 2-0.

Said losing manager Adrian Mercado: "At the end of the day, we've got to play better."
