The London Werewolves got a sterling performance from pitcher Rick Hill, but the Mexico City Aztecs still prevailed, 5-2. Hill threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball. The winner was Mexico City reliever Chris Scales, now 3-0. The loser was Albert Garcia. The Aztecs lead the Southern A West Division by 4 games.

Mexico City took the lead, 5-2, on Brent Mallinson's 21st home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off London pitcher Albert Garcia in the bottom of the seventh.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Mallinson said.
