Bowsers 5-3 Victors Over Nashua
|
The Columbus Bowsers withstood a fine game by Nashua second baseman Joe Morrison at Ballpark of Columbus, to upend the Sweepers, 5-3. Morrison went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. Rey Tovar, who went 5 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 5 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 3. His record now stands at 3-6. Josh Adams was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 8 of 9 save opportunities.
